Privacy Policy
Clear boundaries for creator data.
Effective and last updated: August 24, 2026
1. Scope
This policy explains how JianQian Creator Workbench handles information when a TikTok account holder voluntarily connects an account through TikTok's official authorization flow. The service is designed for accounts owned by, or managed with permission from, the person authorizing access.
2. Information we receive
Depending on the permissions approved by the account holder and enabled by TikTok, we may receive:
- TikTok account identifiers used to maintain the connection;
- display name, username and profile image;
- follower count, following count, total likes and public video count;
- authorization scopes, token expiry times and synchronization status.
We do not receive or store the account holder's TikTok password.
3. How information is used
We use authorized information to display creator profile statistics, maintain a local history of those statistics, refresh them on a scheduled basis, diagnose failed synchronizations and protect the integrity of the connection. We do not use the connection to publish, message, comment, like, follow, advertise or modify the TikTok account.
4. Storage and security
The workbench is operated on an authorized Windows device. Profile statistics are stored in its local database. Access and refresh tokens are encrypted with the current Windows user's data-protection mechanism and are not displayed in the workbench interface. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
5. Sharing and sale
We do not sell creator data. Information is exchanged with TikTok only as required to complete authorization and request the approved fields. We may disclose information if legally required or when necessary to protect users, the service or others from fraud, abuse or security threats.
6. Retention, revocation and deletion
Authorized statistics are retained while the connection is active and while they are needed for the workbench's history. An account holder may revoke access through TikTok or the workbench. Revocation stops future API access. A creator may request deletion of associated profile statistics and connection records by contacting privacy@jqjq.asia. We aim to process valid deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal or security retention needs.
7. Children
The service is not directed to children. A person must be legally able to authorize the connection under the rules that apply to them and to their TikTok account.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published. Questions about this policy may be sent to privacy@jqjq.asia.
